It is recommended to do them first and at the right order to build up your colony before attempting the Formicarium Challenges.Īfter beating formicarium Challenges you can move on with the other missions and unlock other ants in the story. The customization with Royal Jelly is not applied to these missions because they involve different colonies to your formicarium colony. After you have beaten a mission, you will be asked to receive extra of one of the three types of resources. You gain Royal Jelly, Territory Points and Food to improve your colony every time you beat a mission. Hovering your cursor over each hexagon symbol will show you details about that mission. You can click on the Ant symbol in the top left corner of the screen to open the mission menu. These choices are reversible using extra Royal Jelly, but the stats modifications cannot be reduced. Royal Jelly and Territory Points are unique resources in this mode. You can only have a certain maximum number of ants before each Formicarium Challenge. After each challenge or mission, the scientists feed the colony seeds and live creatures. The colony must establish itself in the formicarium and survive a multitude of challenges that the two scientists create.
